Saturdays at Nanny's house could get really busy or be pretty quiet and laid back. One never really knew which way it would go. However, there were times when Nanny would have visitors, and she would appear and then reappear again after certain company came to visit.
It was like she disappeared somewhere and came back confidently to assure those who came to see her that all would be well. It was like she had some sort of "Super Powers" when she went into her closet.
